Suspicious vehicle - gold Ford Expedition

I was walking the dog a few minutes ago and two guys in a Gold Ford Expedition were cruising the neighborhood really slowly looking at all houses. They passed me up at the corner of Tupelo...they went down and turned left on Patrick Ct. I went down St. Patrick and a couple of minutes later, they came down the hill and then went out. So, they covered all streets in a few minutes...I got the tag # BVW 6338 Dekalb, has anyone noticed this car and should I report to 911 or is there another avenue that would be best?
